Yoast SEO Issues: How to Manually Check a Page

The Yoast SEO WordPress plugin doesn’t work well with some pages in the Music Maker theme because it can not read the text in the WordPress Customizer or text in some of the custom text inputs.

The Yoast SEO WordPress plugin does not affect your actual SEO rankings; the plugin simply gives suggestions for a keyword on a specific page.

You can manually check the page for some of the suggested requirements, even if the plugin can not read the page.

You can also test your text in the Yoast SEO  Real-time Content Analysis Tool.

So once again, your homepage can still meet all of the SEO requirements, and not get a green dot in Yoast SEO. Just manually check your page to make sure it meets all of the requirements:

• Have a meta description. Include your keyword.
• Have over 300 words. Include your keyword multiple times.
• Include your keyword in an H1 and H2 tag.
• Include your keyword in an image alt tag.
