Install Music Maker Theme

1. Click Themes under Appearance
2. Click Add New
3. Click Upload Theme
4. Click Browse and search for the MusicMaker.zip file on your computer
5. Click Install Now
6. Click Activate

Install Suggested Plugins

1. Click Begin installing plugins
2. Click the top checkbox to check all the plugins.
3. Select Install in the drop down and click Apply.
   Don’t worry about warning messages.
4. Click Getting Started under Music Maker on the sidebar.

You will not see the Beat Store tab in yet, continue to the next steps.

1. Exceeds PHP Size Limit

It is suggested you contact your website host and ask for assistance on increasing your WordPress upload limit.

The upload limit is not controlled by the Music Maker theme, but by your host.

This error happens when you upload the wrong file. You need to upload the MusicMaker.zip file.

4. Beat Store Tab Missing?

You will NOT see the beat store tab in WordPress until you install the Easy Digital Downloads plugin. You will do this in the tutorials below.

1. Click Import Demo Data under Appearance on the sidebar.
2. Click Switch to manual import!
3. Download the Website Demo Assets below for the demo you want
4. Unzip the folder on your desktop
5. Click Choose File under Choose a DAT file for customizer import
6. Browse your computer in the folder you downloaded for the .dat file
7. Click the Import Demo Data button

1. Activate License

1. Click Activate License on the getting started page.
2. Enter your license key.
3. Click Save Changes, then close the browser tab.

2. Import EDD Settings

1. Right-click and save this json file to your desktop.
2. Click Import EDD Settings on the getting started page.
   
3. Click Browse under Import Settings
4. Browse your computer for easy-digital-downloads.json
5. Click Import, then close the browser tab.

3. Update Permalinks

1. Click Permalinks on the getting started page.
   
2. Select Post Name
3. Click Save Changes, then close the browser tab.

4. Update Checkout Pages

1. Click Checkout Pages on the getting started page.
2. Check Checkout, Purchase Confirmation, Purchase History, Transaction Failed
3. In the drop down select Edit and click Apply.
4. Under Template select Full Width and Update, then close the browser tab.

5. Add Shopping Menu ( Optional )

1. Click Shopping Menu on the getting started page.
2. Select the menu: Main Navigation Menu
3. Check Always display cart
4. Select Align Right
5. Click Save Changes, then close the browser tab.

6. Create Testimonial Slider

1. Click Testimonial Slider on the getting started page.
2. Click Slideshow
3. Navigation Controls: “Sides: Previous/Next“
4. Uncheck Title
5. Select Modern
6. Click Save Changes, then close the browser tab.
