How to Use Backblaze for Large Files ( WAV / Trackouts )

Backblaze is a good option to use for large file downloads. The first 10 GB of storage is free.

The service is not completely free, but it’s cheap. Check out their Cost Calculator.

This service is good because it allows direct file linking, which can be hidden when a beat is purchased.

How to Create an Account & Upload Folder

1. Sign Up for their service. No credit card is required.

  • Follow all the steps to create an account. Verify your phone number.

2. Click Buckets.

3. Click Create a Bucket.

4. Enter a Name for Your Beats Folder

  1. Enter an original name for your Beats folder. This is the folder you will be uploading large beat files too.
  2. Select Public.
  3. Click the Create a Bucket button.

5. Make sure the Type says Public

  • If not, click Bucket Settings, select Public, and click Update Bucket.

How to Upload Large Files

1. Click Browse Files.

2. Click the name of the folder you created.

  • This is how you will gain access to this folder in the future.

3. Click the Upload button.

4. Drag your large ZIP files into the overlay window.

Let the files finish uploading.


Add File URLs in the Music Maker Beat Store

1. Click the file you want the URL for.

2. Copy the Friendly URL for the file.

3. Edit the beat you want to add the large file URLs to, and paste the file URL in the inputs of the Beat Files.

4. Click the Update button in WordPress to make the changes live.

Repeat this process for all your beats.


Try doing test payments to make sure the downloads work properly.

Tip: Add the Caps & Alerts to avoid overcharges.
